Civil Engineering

Norwest’s civil engineering experience includes land, topographic and photogrammetric surveys, orientation of the plant facilities to best suit the site topography and subsurface conditions, and the development of grading plans to minimize earthwork.

Personnel are experienced in the layout and design of access roads and railroads, plant roads and track systems, dock facilities, and design of storm, process and sanitary waste collection and treatment system.  The civil group utilizes specialize computer programs in the development of earth quantities, hydraulics and geometry of all systems.
